Osiyo, my fellow brothers and sisters. 

Wodige Digatoli and I have been talking about going camping before it gets to cold down here. We have been talking about it for a few weeks now. When I get home Friday we are doing a few things and Wodige Digatoli, says "I sure wish it wasn't going to rain I would like to take the tent out".  Well you know me a little rain is not going to stop me, but wanting to make sure my Usdi didn't catch  pneumonia I go into the long house and bring out the tent and set it up in the front yard, get bedding and a mattress from the spare bedroom and bam!!!!!!instant campsite in the front yard. We had a real good time cooking out in the open, I made Wodige Digatoli a new set of ear rings from Blue Jay feathers that we had found.

We decided to take some photos to post of the Boston Butt that we slow cooked in the Dutch oven over an open flame........uuuuummmmmmmmmm so gooooooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!

So here are some picture of the campsite and some of the Cherokee weapon I have made.

The spear which is really neat I had some much fun making the spear. It has a metal spear tip and a river cane shaft, so there is my pose with the spear.

The next set of my Cherokee long bow and arrows. I get the bright Idea to have some pose shots done, so I tell Wodige Digatoli to get her and my cameras. she does and I start posing away, the story will tell itself.......

One iga on the Equa Vdali reservation Wodige Digatoli ale Awanita were cooking siqua hawiya with  Uladvhi ale svgi. The iga was uwoduhi and it was warm. I had started the astilv in the fire pit and called for Wodige Digatoli  to grab our camera and camera phones and let's take some photos of our camp site and the hog meat with yams and onion that we are cooking. Then I could do some pose shots with some of the weapons so ah we took photos of the meat cooking doesn't that just look wonderful.....it was so tender it would fall apart from the fork very very tender. The yams and onion was just the added bonus to the tender Boston Butt. The smoke was very refreshing it added just enough of that black walnut and pecan smoke flavor to just make your mouth water when looking at the hog meat. 

Well now it it time to take Awanita's pose shots featuring my 9ft spear, looking pretty good. I got some good shots in next to a tree but since I didn't have a target block, I didn't wast to be disrespectful to the living tree by poking it endlessly with a 9ft spear.  

Alright Wodige Digatoli, now I will go and get my galitsadi ale gatlidi. Wodige Digatoli says Awanita pull back on the galitsadvdi, so I pull back on the bowstring and Wodige says hold it right there, hold it right there let me get out of the sun so I can get a better shot. Good gravy how long is it going to take her to get to the right position........Where the hell are you Wodige Digatoli the bowstring is getting harder to hold back......for goodness sake I am not Arnold f'n Schwarzenegger here the galitsadvdi is starting to cut into my fingers her where in the hell, hey did you forget about me? "Hold on baby I trying to get a good shot, usdi" Wodige Digatoli says. Good shot my ass, I can't hold it much longer......oh, no,,,,,,,,,,oh hell nooooooo,,,,,,,,shit.........well I hope you got that shot. I just shot a hole in our tent with a renegade gatlidi. I flew up in the air and came down and preceded to give us a nice hole in the top of the tent......bad bad boy, so ah puck it if you have duct tape you can fix anything from a tent to a transmission in a John deere Poppin B tractor......we did have a wonderful time just wanted to share the photos of myself and Wodige Digatoli.
